Things are fantastic here in us-ville.
Drew had an awesome birthday party...filled with lots of hugs.
and we shared the rest of the Memorial Day weekend with family.
Then I began my 5-week suicide class which, as it turns out, isn't about suicide but makes you want to commit the act. The course is normally 16 weeks but it packaged into this little ditty called a summer session. Summer session = torture (and 3 credits!)
BUT I still want to spend time with my hubby and son so I am trying to exist on less than 6 hours a night.
I figure I did it for Drew's first year of life, I can certainly hang in there for the next 4 weeks, right? RIGHT? Sorry, caffeine.
Anywho....Brian, as usual, has stepped up to play with Drew while I study and I hear the most adorable daddy-son conversations and laugher which makes me love him so...but makes me jealous that I can not be in there playing with "action figures!" as Drew shrieks. One of their most adorable exchanges involved Drew's bowling set, which is about 8 inches in height. He rolled the ball and got a strike. Brian did it while sitting down, because it isn't a very tall set. Andrew then notified him that he had cheated because he wasn't standing up. Drew wins, by default. It was so adorable.
No, I don't have pictures...I was doing homework. Sheesh.
I do have a cute pic of Drew's haircut....we went on Friday. The red on his face is facepaiting from his field day at school.
Summertime...summertime..sum...sum..summertime...summer-ttiiiimmmeeeee.....
